The One with Zoe

Zoe graduated is a senior girl this year at one of Spokane’s high schools. This is another one of those sessions that was incredibly fun. I had a terrible time deciding which photo to include here on the blog. Zoe is interested in film and she had a vision for her season. I spend some time trying to find the perfect vibe for her location and we settle on a back alley. Believe it or not, every detail of this session was planned from the location and wardrobe to the props and editing. We choose a muted color palette because that appealed to Zoe. It was especially fun to collaborate and bring this vision forward!

What worked?

Zoe carefully chose a color palette that worked with her dark hair. She listened carefully to the “how to dress” suggestions. I always encourage clients to carefully read through the session planning brochure that I send out prior to the session. The reason this works is because she selected clothing that included details like the empire waist with the rousing and v-neck. This was paired with an attractive pair of blue jeans and perfectly accessorized with open toed sandals and trendy bracelets. The most successful sessions include a meaningful prop to fill hand like Zoe’s radio. Zoe also made the wise decision to have her hair and makeup professionally done to perfect the look!
